Q4 25 update
In Q3, the portfolio was hovering just under the half-million mark. As we close out the year, market tailwinds helped push the total to $564,000, up from $499,700.
I am starting 2026 in a stronger position than any year prior. The last few years were primarily about laying groundwork. Crossing the $500k threshold signals the end of that phase and the start of the second half of the journey to $1M.
My portfolio remains concentrated on two companies with distinct structural advantages:
Next quarter, I will receive my first stock grant from my current company.
For transparency, I am continuing to value this at $0 in my net worth tracking. It is illiquid and high-risk. However, I’m working with a strong team on a problem that matters. If we execute well, there is a possibility for a significant upside—potentially a multi-million dollar outcome—but for now, it represents an exciting professional challenge rather than money in the bank.
If the last few years were about building the base, 2026 is about Scale.
With the major life hurdles behind me, I have more capacity to focus on growing the asset base.
The goal for 2026 is to add $200,000 to the net worth. This is an ambitious target that requires the market to cooperate, but the plan is simple: maximize income, minimize unforced errors, and let compounding do its work.
Onward.
