Q1 26 update
2026 is off to a bumpy start.
After crossing the half-million milestone last year, Q1 brought a swift reminder of public market volatility. My net worth pulled back to $523,800, marking a $40,200 decline for the quarter.
Most of these paper losses were driven by a broader sell-off in SaaS stocks, with PayPal, Uber, and a handful of smaller investments taking the brunt of the hit. However, markets move fast. At the time of writing, the stock market has already shown strong signs of recovery, leaving me quite bullish as we head into Q2.
Starting the year with a $40k deficit makes the math steeper, but it doesn’t change the playbook. Scale is built through consistency during red quarters. The plan remains identical.
Onward.
